UCCP Shalom Center is a guesthouse owned and operated by the United Church of Christ in the Philippines situated at 1660 L. Ma. Guerrero St., Malate, Manila Philippines, 1004. It is conveniently located near University of the Philippines-Manila, St. Paul University-Manila, Robinsons Place Shopping Mall, among others.




The rooms were big enough to accommodate 3-5 persons (depends on what room you choose). They offer private rooms, apartelle-type rooms, family rooms (cottage). They also ave conference halls for all your function needs. basically, the amenities that you get varies on the kind of room that you book. The only significant difference between the rooms was that for apartelle-type rooms, they get  mini-kitchen; and rooms located in cottages are quite big compared to those in the main building.



So, for the room that we got, we had 2 queen-sized bed, a vanity table, a toilet, a cabinet, and a  cabled TV. The room was very spacious compared to what our guy friends took. (They took an apartelle-type room). When you enter the cottage, there’s a recetion area for your guests.




Toilets were complete with hot/cold showers, complimentary toiletries, and towels. Water pressure was also good.

VERDICT: This is a good place to stay if you’re in a big group. Why? Just look at the prices. More people, bigger savings. The BEST thing about this hotel/guesthouse is that it is VERY near the mall, schools, stores and is very accessible. If you’re an avid party-goer, best stay here. It is near enough bars and pubs; but still far enough to give you a good night sleep.
