Hotel Review: Casa Pilar (Boracay Island)

By kweneeeta - 4:03 PM

Casa Pilar is one of the many beach front hotels found in the island of Boracay. It is frequented by a lot of foreign and local tourists. By far, it is the biggest beach front hotel that I’ve checked in Boracay Island. It is located in station 3. I actually didn’t get to stay in this resort (coz we stayed at Crystal Sand) but I was able to check their rooms and amenities due to work-related circumstances.

So anyway, here are the room choices and the amenities they offer:
Superior Room (Aircon) - Superior rooms are found on the far end of the hotel. The room is complete with aircon, cabled TV, hot/cold shower, dresser. Towels are also provided.

Deluxe Room – Same with the superior room, it is complete with all necessary amenities that you need. The difference is that it’s a little bigger, more sophisticated, and found just behind Casa Pilar resto.

Executive Room – Room amenities are basically the same. The difference? Well as you can see from the photos, it looks like your own house in Boracay. Luxurious and grand. ^^,

Fan Room – Basically the cheapest accommodation in this resort. Same amenities with the other rooms, except that it doesn’t have an airconditioning unit. But hey! You’re in the beach! Who needs airconditioned room when you can go out and enjoy the sea breeze?! ^^,

Aside from the room, the resort  boasts a lot of other amenities like a function hall and  resto.

MY THOUGHTS: I think this one is relatively cheap compared to other resorts in Boracay. I mean, hello?! It’a a beach front hotel! You’re just one cartwheel away from the sea! At these rates, it’s  definitely worth it. We stayed in Crystal Sand while we were in Boracay and it cost us PHP5,500.00 for a family room which accommodates upto 4 people AND there was no free breakfast. So really, this one is already a great deal. It’s actually also very near pubs, bars, stores, and others.
