Hotel Review: Eon Centennial Plaza Hotel (Iloilo City)

I stayed in this hotel for more than a week during my stay in Iloilo City; and I may say that I was satisfied with their service. This hotel is located near the downtown area of Iloilo so that Robinsons Place and other commercial establishments can be reached through a short  walk.

I was, at first, reluctant to stay at this hotel because of ghost stories related to the hotel. But then, my whole hotel stay and there was no scary moment at all.

The room was huge for double occupancy. I had a queen-sized bed with clean beddings. However, the blanket is really thin. Plus, there is this unrecognizable smell in the room. It’s tolerable for people who are not that sensitive.

Free breakfast is available. PLUS! you can have it through room service without charges which is really cool! And with a small dining table and chair provided, you can have your meals at your own room. Another plus is that, their food is not overly priced and is usually in big servings ^^,

The room was complete with a study table, a personal ref (with sodas, water for sale), vanity table, dresser, cabled TV, and airconditioner. However, the aircon was weak and the remote doesn’t function.

The toilet was also spacious complete with a sink, mirror, hot/cold shower, toiletries. and towels.

MY THOUGHTS: I think this hotel is a good place to stay especially if you’re looking for a place near the downtown area. The room service and their pricing is a plus. Their staff are really friendly and accommodating. They clean, change sheets, replace toiletries on DAILY basis….GREAT! The elevator, however, is too slow. The price is a bit high, though. but still a good choice.
