Strolling in Hong Kong PART 2: Kowloon Park

By kweneeeta - 1:27 PM

After quite a long, hot-under-the-sun stroll, we ended up in Kowloon Walled City Park. To get here, check this link.

First stop is the Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars. Well, we really didn't recognize any character plainly because every single display were characters in Hong Kong comics. But they were just so cute that we took photos with the non-moving characters.

Chinese Garden inside the park
We passed by a Chinese Garden, rest for a while, enjoyed the view , and continued on our 'quest'. There was also an aviary but we opted out. Instead, we sat by the lake and enjoyed a chocolate sundae.

Kowloon Park (Aviary)

Kowloon Park is quite huge BUT no worries, there are signs everywhere to guide you.

The only indoor attraction that we went into was Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre. The main intent of going inside the museum was to freshen up haha! But we were thankful that we dropped by. It was not a waste of time...not at all. We got to educate ourselves about the history and culture of Hong Kong.

A lot of exhibits inside depicting Hong Kong's cultural heritage. We jumped from one exhibit to another. There were also audio-visual rooms that plays a movie/show.

When we thought we've seen everything inside Kowloon Park (but we're wrong), we exited and moved on to the next destination.
