Everyone has been so giddy about the grand opening of Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. Why not? This park is set to become a premiere Safari Park not just in the country but also in the international scale. The opening of this is a great welcome for local tourists especially those who can't travel abroad and experience a world-class zoological park.

Situated atop the hills of the Municipality of Carmen, this wide expanse houses several kinds of animals. No matter how old (or young) you are, you'd surely enjoy this newly opened tourist destination in Cebu.

We visited the safari park last April 2018--this was before the grand opening of the park. During this time, entrance fee was at Php800.00/head with free lunch. However, after their Grand Opening last May 2018, no more free lunch. You can avail of the buffet meal for Php300.00/head or just order a set meal. Entrance fee is still at Php800.00/head for adults. While kids 2-3ft has 50% discount and kids below 2 feet are FREE of entrance fee. Park is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. For your convenience, you may book your reservation at their website.

During the briefing, a map of the the park will be provided for your tour reference.
Before entering the park, you'll go through a briefed of the park's Do's and Dont's. After which, you may start exploring the park on foot or wait for the trams. Mind you, the park is so wide. So my advice is for you to take the tram to the farthest section of the park which is the safari and you can walk on foot all the way down or catch a tram at any of the tram stops.

The animals...

Bird feeding at the Aviary
Are you an orchid-lover? Well, be ready to be charmed and feast on the million blooming orchids of Michel's Garden. The pictures don't even give justice on how majestic the garden was.

After a very long. tiring, and hot day at the safari park, we are now set to leave and call it a day. Already loaded on the tram, we bid our goodbyes to the animals and flowers of Cebu Safari and Adventure Park.

Goodbye! Til next time!
My thoughts: Very good place to visit with the kids. If you've been to safaris and zoos outside the country, you might not be amazed by everything this park has to offer. The park is still developing some of it's spots, adding more animals to the list, and improving on their services. Soon, they're gonna open their adventure rides (obstacles course, Asia's longest zipline, skybike, etc.) All to more reason to go and see the park.

Happy Trip! Ciao!
